Despite the fact that reality shows have jumped the shark — American Idol is the only one still holding on in the ratings — Justin Timberlake is reportedly executive producing something called "The Phone" that will air on MTV. 

Apparently, two hidden cell phones will ring somewhere in a city and whoever picks up will have 5 seconds to decide if they want to complete a mission for a cash prize.

Reuters reports: "As they race through the city on their adventure, a helicopter tracks their every move. MTV described the show as a wild and cinematic ride reminiscent of such films as 'The Bourne Identity' and 'The Game.'"

I do like the Bourne series, and I'm a big fan of another show with a former pretty boy musician as its executive producer, but somehow, I don't think I'm their demographic.
